According to a press release from the coalition, three airstrikes in Syria hit targets near Al Hasakah and Ar Raqqah. Those strikes destroyed an ISIS-operated armored personnel carrier, five fighting positions and an additional vehicle, while also hitting an ISIS tactical unit.
In Iraq, the coalition says it conducted 12 strikes, aimed at areas near Al Qaim, Bayji, Fallujah, Mosul, Ramadi, Sinjar and Tal Afar. Five of the 12 were focused on the area near Mosul. The city, controlled by ISIS, has been the target of some of the heaviest strikes in recent months.
