Idaho Falls woman arrested for grand theft

IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested Cherell F. Swifthawk, 30, for grand theft after she stole a car on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Officers responded to a vehicle theft report around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The reporting party stated that while at a residence on the 600 block North of Fanning, an unknown female, who was also at the residence, took his car, according to and Idaho Falls news release.

Swifthawk was seen driving the vehicle, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, in the 600 block of Gladstone around 7:30 p.m.

Swifthawk is being held in the Bonneville County Jail with no current bond. Her arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 21.
