Police: Felony shoplifters apprehended in Teton Village

TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — A pair of alleged shoplifters were caught by police while attempting to rob a sports store in Teton Village, Wyoming a second time, authorities said.
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office reports Lynn A.Ciriacks, 64, and Daniel P. Ciriacks, 61, of Brookfield, Wisconsin walked into Teton Village Sports at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, according to a news release.
Store employees identified the couple as a pair of suspected shoplifters who had made repeated trips into Teton Sports on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and worked together to steal approximately $1,200 in clothes.
The employees said the suspects were even wearing the same clothes as they had during Tuesday’s incidence.
Sheriff deputies, who were patrolling the area, arrived within seconds and positively identified the suspects as those wanted for the original crime. It was found that they were in the process of victimizing the store for the second time.
Both individuals were booked into the Teton County Jail on felony theft and conspiracy charges.
