NEWDALE — A man was airlifted to the hospital Thursday night after being pulled into a grain auger.
Witnesses say the accident happened at Thresher Artisan Wheat Company around 5:00 p.m.
Fremont County Sheriff Len Humphries says the man’s leg became caught in the auger. A grain auger is a long tube used to raise and transport grain from the ground to bins or trucks.
Emergency crews were called to the scene and the man was airlifted by medical helicopter to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
