Second suspect arrested in connection to I.F. armed robbery

IDAHO FALLS — A second suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery has been arrested.
Idaho Falls police say Christopher Derrick was taken into custody at a home in the 2000 Block of North Hitt Road Thursday, Feb. 4 around 4:30 p.m.
Detectives say Derrick is one of two men behind a robbery that occurred Jan. 24 on the 1400 block of East 17th Street.
A passenger was sitting with three other people in a truck when, according to investigators, a man pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet.
Earlier this week, the other suspect Antonyo Beare, 29, was arrested in connection to the incident. He is in the Bonneville County Jail on an armed robbery charge.
Derrick is charged with felony robbery and use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony. He is being held in the Bonneville County Jail on $100,000 bond. Derrick is scheduled to be be arraigned this afternoon.
