ISP release names of two people killed in Lava Hot Springs crash

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police
On Sunday, March 20, 2016, at approximately 3:05 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatality crash on US30 at milepost 370, near Lava Hot Springs.
A 2007 Toyota Camry, driven by Austin Rausch, 18 of Idaho Falls, was eastbound on US30, when he crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a 2013 Nissan Versa, driven by Nyals Bodine, 34 of North Logan, UT.
Bodine and his passengers, Leah “Jan” Tingey, 57 of North Logan, UT and Jeffrey Tingey, 61 of North Logan, UT, were all wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Nyals Bodine and Leah “Jan” Tingey succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Jeffrey Tingey was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.
Rausch was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.

LAVA HOT SPRINGS — Idaho State Police are currently investigating a two vehicle fatality crash on US30 at milepost 370, near Lava Hot Springs.
The Idaho State Journal reports at least one passenger was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. Others were transported by ground ambulance.
At this time police say all lanes of U.S. Highway 30 are blocked.
