EastIdahoNews.com to host Jefferson Co. forums Wednesday, Thursday

RIGBY — Jefferson County residents will get the chance to hear from local political candidates on Wednesday and Thursday.
EastIdahoNews.com is hosting two candidate forums at Harwood Elementary School at 200 West 3rd North in Rigby. The forums begin at 7 p.m. on both evenings.
On Wednesday, candidates for the Jefferson County Commission and Sheriff’s Office will debate each other.
Candidates for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and Central Fire District Commission will have the chance to address the public on Thursday night.
The event is sponsored by Scotty’s True Value and Auto.
Questions will come from EastIdahoNews.com staffers, and written questions will be accepted from the audience and social media. There will not be an open microphone.
The event is free and open to the public. Both forums will be posted in their entirety at EastIdahoNews.com following the event.
