BONNEVILLE COUNTY — An RV is a complete loss after a residential fire on the 100 block of Wilson Drive on Sunday afternoon.

The Idaho Falls Fire Department and Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the blaze around 12:30 p.m.

Three engines and three ambulances were dispatched including a battalion chief and a safety officer. When crews arrived, the RV was fully engulfed.

Flames could be seen shooting from the RV more than 10 feet in air. Those flames, aided by wind, caused the fire to spread to a nearby mobile home.

The mobile home suffered damaged to the front, while the RV was a total loss.

Fire officials say, though they are still investigating, the fire appears to have started when a man was working on the vehicle.

No one was living within the mobile home at the time and it wasn’t clear if the RV was the man’s home.

No one was hurt in the fire.
