Man wanted out of Jefferson County arrested in Bonneville

IDAHO FALLS — An Idaho Falls man was arrested in Bonneville County yesterday and found in possession of an illegal firearm and drug paraphernalia.
Craig Fillmore, 49, was initially arrested Friday by the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office on warrants out of Jefferson County. He was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a burglary and reported to have made suicidal statements to family, according to a Bonneville County news release.
Fillmore was believed to be in possession of a firearm.
Bonneville County deputies later located Fillmore on the bank of the Snake River near the Conant Valley Boat Ramp and took him into custody without incident.
Police say Fillmore was found to be in possession of stolen property as well as a handgun, drug paraphernalia and a substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Fillmore was transferred to Jefferson County for charges related to their burglary investigation.
Further potential charges for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia have been submitted to the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
