NBC features east Idaho Secret Santa on ‘Nightly News’

IDAHO FALLS — A crew from NBC News spent Friday in Idaho Falls as the EastIdahoNews.com team surprised recipients with Secret Santa gifts.
Reporter Jacob Rascon and producer Charles Hadlock, along with a photographer and sound engineer, shot, wrote and produced a piece that aired on NBC Nightly News.
A Secret Santa asked the EastIdahoNews.com team to help he and his wife give away $100,000 to deserving families living in east Idaho. Around 20 individuals or families have received money or gift cards since Dec. 1 and the surprises will continue until Christmas.
