Fiancée of Aaron Hernandez Granted Immunity

Shayanna Jenkins, the mother of Hernandez’s 2-year-old daughter, was granted immunity by Judge E. Susan Garsh Tuesday, as the former New England Patriots tight end stands trial for allegedly fatally shooting the boyfriend of Jenkins’s sister.
During the trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd, prosecutors have alleged that Jenkins aided the former football player by disposing of the murder weapon the day after the June 2013 killing.
In spite of the immunity, there has been no indication that Jenkins will testify against her fiancée.
