Two Idaho Falls Teens arrested for grand theft
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested Robert N. Hall of Idaho Falls, 18, and referred a 17-year-old male to juvenile court on Aug. 12 for grand theft.
The theft from both males was in connection to thefts from their employer, JC Penney’s, located at 2320 E. 17th St.
Hall of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County jail. The 17-year-old of Idaho Falls was booked into 3B Detention Center.
Officers were dispatched to JC Penney’s in reference to thefts made by Hall and the 17-year-old, said Joelyn Hansen, Idaho Falls Police spokesperson.
Hansen said that since 2014, both had stolen around $14,000 a piece from the store, and most of their theft was through fraudulent returns.
Hall is being held at the Bonneville County Jail with no bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 13.
The identity of the 17-year-old male has been withheld because he is a juvenile.
