PODCAST: Donna Benfield: “I don’t know Rexburg is ready for a woman mayor”

Benfield discusses her two failed attempts for the city’s mayor and says, “I don’t want to say its one of those gender things, but I don’t know Rexburg is ready for a woman mayor.”
She believes it will eventually happen, it just won’t be her.
Benfield talks about the tremendous growth of the city over the past two decades and her role with the city council and the Chamber of Commerce in handling the numerous changes.
She is currently in the middle of a council term, and Benfield discusses finishing the term and any chances of running again.
Benfield is moving onto a new career helping at-risk youth.
