Sitting Councilman Jordan Busby has announced his intention to run for a second term in the Rexburg City Council.
Getting involved and helping shape the city was among the reasons Busby says he initially got involved in city politics. And as to the future — well, he’s not announcing anything, but he says mayoral aspirations could be in the cards.
Transparency in the city government and encouraging patrons to be a part of the solution are some of the issues Busby, an assistant principal at Madison High School, says he focuses on.
Busby discusses his goals for the city, including managing traffic flow, particularly to the north end of town.
