Perennial candidate Sierra “Idaho Lorax” Carta says he regards politics as a platform for several of the issues he is vocal about, including education and uranium contamination.
“Idaho,” the general coordinator of Win-Win Way United, is running for the Pocatello City Council Seat 2.
The “great uranium cleanup” is his chief concern in running for City Council. Listen to what he has to say about this in the podcast above.
“That’s what I work on, that’s what I’m here for,” he says.
“I’m just a messenger here,” he adds. “Maybe (I’m not) a highly qualified entertainer, and educator and scientist, but I am still here to drive home the clean up and save lives in Pocatello.”
He says his qualifications for the office include not being corrupt and being highly knowledgeable about politics.
