Pamela Anderson Says She’s ‘Cured’ of Hepatitis C

The Baywatch star revealed over the weekend that she is free of the disease after completing a new FDA-approved drug treatment. She celebrated the news by posting a naked photo of herself on Instagram.
“I am CURED!!! – I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live,” the 48-year-old former Playboy model wrote alongside the photo. “I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still.”

Anderson first went public in 2002 with news that she had contracted the disease.
After other treatments failed, she tried a new course of FDA-approved drugs.
In September, about half way through the treatment, she told Andy Cohen on his show Watch What Happens Live that she had new hope.
“I am taking medicine right now, they have come up with a cure,” she told Cohen. “I am almost half way through and by Nov. 1 I should be cured — a 98 percent chance.”
