IDAHO FALLS — DeOrr Kunz Jr. turns three years old today and his family plans to celebrate even though he’s not with them.
The Idaho Falls toddler disappeared July 10 while camping with his family in Leadore. There has been no sign of the child and nobody has been charged in connection to his disappearance.
A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Watersprings Church of Idaho Falls in honor of DeOrr.
His family says the public is invited to “help us celebrate DeOrr Jay Kunz’s 3rd birthday in hopes for his return to his mom, dad and family very soon.”
The vigil will feature music, a speaker and family prayer. Following a candle lighting, cupcakes will be served.
The vigil begins at 6 p.m. Watersprings Church of Idaho Falls is located at 4250 S. 25th E. Those who attend are asked to bring a candle.
