2 die in Palisades plane crash

Two people died in a plane crash Monday, Jan. 4, near the Idaho/Wyoming border, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash site is just into Bonneville County at the edge of Palisades Reservoir near the border with Lincoln County, Wyoming. The plane was not in the water.

Emergency crews were called out around 4:30 p.m. They found the two occupants of the small plane had died.

The sheriff’s office said it would release further details by Tuesday morning.
