IDAHO FALLS — Emergency crews have been slammed all morning responding to crashes across eastern Idaho.

Snow, fog and ice have created slick roads from Pocatello to Island Park.

Several accidents and vehicle slide-offs were reported this morning on I-15.

Just after 8:00 a.m. a semi-truck transporting lumber rear-ended an Idaho Department of Transportation snow plow at milepost 108. The collision resulted in front-end damage to the semi while the plow received severe back-end damage — destroying equipment used to distribute sand.

Around the same time, a two vehicle accident was reported at St. John Rd and West 65th South in Bonneville County. A silver Grand am appeared to have collided with a white Honda Accord.

Throughout the morning several vehicle slide offs were reported on Highway 20 between Rexburg and Idaho Falls.

Road conditions throughout the region are listed as snowy, with good surface friction and visibility of about 1.2 miles, according to the Idaho Department of Transportation.

Police remind everyone to use caution while driving on the roads.
