LEWISVILLE — A two-year-old girl who died following a snow accident will be laid to rest Friday, Mar. 4 in the Lewisville Cemetery.

Halle Ann Merrill was playing with her cousins near Mack’s Inn Friday, Feb. 26 when a massive amount of snow slid off a cabin roof and buried her. Family members and rescue crews dug for nearly 40 minutes before she was found and flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical. She died late that night.

In her obituary, Hallee is remembered as a bright ray of sunshine who was full of joy and happiness.

“Her family is so grateful to have been blessed to have this short precious time with such a beautiful Angel daughter. She loved dancing, jumping, swimming, dressing up and playing ‘Princess’. She loved to tease and had a fun sense of humor. She loved playing with her sister, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was so fun, loving and sharing with all around her. Her beautiful blue eyes and smile could light up a room and bring happiness to all.”

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Lewisville LDS Chapel on 3450 East.

A fund to cover expenses has been set up at Zions Bank under the name of Chris Merrill.
