Plane ‘completely burned up’ after crash in rural Bonneville County

IDAHO FALLS — The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a small plane crashed north of Alpine, Wyoming near Palisades Reservoir late Saturday night.
It is unclear when the plane was found. However, law enforcement and emergency responders in Lincoln County, Wyoming received a 911 call reporting the crash on Sunday afternoon.
Lincoln County responded to the scene near Airport Road and Old Alpine Road and contacted Bonneville County to assist.
The U.S. Forest Service and Backcounty EMS also responded.
Bonneville Sgt. Jeff Edwards said the plane was completely burnt up.
No details have been released about the passengers or what happened to the plane.
