At least two crashes and slick roads slow traffic in Malad Pass

MALAD — Idaho State Police are currently investigating at least two crashes on southbound Interstate 15, between the Downey and Malad Summit areas.
Witnesses tell EastIdahoNews.com one of the accidents appeared to be a black SUV that had rolled off the road.
Multiple drivers have contacted EastIdahoNews.com. They report heavy raining, snow and flash flooding in the pass. Roads are very slick and vehicles are hydroplaning.
No word on if anyone was injured. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
Motorist are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
