IDAHO FALLS — Strong wind gusts across east Idaho on Monday afternoon resulted in major damage to at least one truck parked on the 600 block of North Fanning Ave.

Witnesses say the wind blew down a large tree that landed on top of a truck around 3:00 p.m.

“(The) passenger window was knocked out,” said EastIdahoNews.com reader Lilly Winterbottom. “It is pretty windy out here.”
