Police searching for man who allegedly stole SUV and dumped it in river

POCATELLO — Police are searching for a man they believe stole a vehicle and dumped it in a river.

A 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser was stolen from the area of 1800 Flandro Drive on Apr. 27, according to Pocatello Police Lt. Paul Manning.

On Friday, May 6, the vehicle was found partially submerged in the river off of Portneuf Road near Ft. Hall Mine Road.

Police are identifying 36-year-old Brandon James Lenker as a possible suspect who was observed driving the vehicle. Lenore is described as 6′ 2″, 175 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. He currently has short cropped hair and little or no facial hair.
