Star Valley Wyoming LDS Temple Presidency announced

STAR VALLEY — The First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has announced that the following have been called as the Star Valley Wyoming Temple Presidency, the Matron and assistants to the matron:

McKell W Allred, 68, Salt River Ward, Afton Wyoming Stake, called as president of the new Star Valley Wyoming Temple. President Allred’s wife, Glenae Draney Allred, will serve as temple matron. He is a high priests group instructor, Scout leader, and former stake president, bishop, elders quorum president, stake Young Men president’s counselor, and temple ordinance worker. A retired designer and facilities manager, he was born in Afton, Wyoming, to Ronald Edwin and Elda Smith Allred Weber.

Sister Allred is a ward organist and pianist and has served as ward Primary president, Young Women adviser, and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Afton, Wyoming, to Gleno Welker and Renee Pendleton Draney.

Dan Edward Moldenhauer, 63, Soda Springs 4th Ward, Soda Springs Idaho Stake, as 1st counselor. He is currently serving in the Family and Church History Headquarters Mission, former president of the Texas Houston East Mission, stake president, bishop, high councilor, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Washington DC Mission. Owner/general manager, Moldenhauer Inc. Born in Burley, Idaho, to Edward Lewis and La Vera Fillmore Moldenhauer. Married Debra Jane Godfrey.

Sister Moldenhauer will serve as an assistant to the matron. She is currently serving in the Family and Church History Headquarters Mission, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Primary teacher and Sunday School teacher. Born in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Cleston Murrie and Rhea Jane Griffiths Godfrey.

Kirk H Dana, 61, Thayne 2nd Ward, Thayne Wyoming Stake as 2nd counselor. He is currently serving on the Star Valley Wyoming Temple Public Affairs Subcommittee and is Public Affairs Director for the Soda Springs Coordinating Council, former institute instructor, ward Young Men’s President, stake president, bishop, elders Quorum President, and missionary in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. Retired business owner. Born in Afton, Wyoming to Cecil Howard and Faye Haderlie Dana. Married Dannette Fae Sanders.

Sister Dana will serve as an assistant to the matron. She is currently serving on the Star Valley Wyoming Temple Public Affairs Committee and Public Affairs Director for the Soda Springs Coordinating Council. She is a former institute instructor, Ward Young Women’s President, Primary Teacher and Cub Master. Born in Whitefish, Montana to David Milton and Delores Ann Ball Sanders.
