Idaho the most boring state, according to website

IDAHO FALLS — Idaho has a lot of things going for it, but one website claims the Gem State is the most boring state in the country.
AreaVibes.com recently posted its list of the ten most boring states in America.
The creators of the list used AreaVibes and U.S. Census pulled data from every state and measured the percentage of people over 65, the percentage of households with kids, the percentage of married households and population density.
“Welcome to snoozeville, America. The data has spoken, and it looks like Idaho is the most boring state in our great nation,” the website states.
AreaVibes.com says Idaho is so boring because more than half of the population is married and we have the second highest rate of hitched individuals in the nation.
“As we all know, married people are far less exciting than single people are,” the website states. “On top of that, more than a third of the population has kids at home. That means an exciting night for many Idaho families is trying to figure out who broke the iPad.”
Other states on the “Most Boring” list include Utah, Kansas, and Iowa.
