One person dead following massive Blackfoot home fire

UPDATE (8:30 a.m.) The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office confirms a person inside the home was killed during last night’s incident. The name of the victim has not been released. EastIdahoNews.com has a crew on the scene and will update this story throughout the day.
BLACKFOOT — Multiple witnesses are confirming a large house fire on Parkway Drive and Lilac Street in Blackfoot.
Witnesses tell EastIdahoNews.com a car smashed into a house around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
That information has not been confirmed by authorities.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel are on scene.
