What has six heads, twelve arms and plays “party blues”, an infectious brand of music filled with tasty melodies, rollicking rhythms and unquenchable enthusiasm? Answer: Andy Frasco & the U.N. And they’re coming to Idaho Falls this week!

If you’re looking for entertainment on Thursday night, check out the Live United Concert Series at Snake River Landing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This all-ages party will feature food, drink and plenty of fun. The main event will be a live outdoor musical performance headlined by Andy Frasco & the U.N.

Frasco came up through the Los Angeles music scene, gaining a following with his frenzied, infectious and chaotically energetic live shows, according to a news release. Playing a fusion of soul, funk and rock, with touches of roots and Americana, Frasco and his band have road-tested and perfected their sound by playing a back-breaking 200 lives shows or more per year. The band has been rewarded for their grit and persistence with an ever-growing legion of fans.

The band’s fame grew in 2014, thanks to a series of big-time festival appearances and their third record, “Half a Man”. The record and festival appearances brought recognition from major press outlets like Pollstar and Relix.

Over the years, Andy Frasco & the U.N. have shared the stage with a number of musical luminaries, including bluesman Gary Clark, Jr., superstar John Mayer and and alt-funksters Fishbone. Fraso’s live shows frequently illicit dancing and floods of good feelings. Frasco is a consummate showman who whips crowds into a foaming frenzy of fun.

Food for Thursday night’s show will be provided by MacKenzie River Pizza, Sergio’s Delights and Kona Ice, with beer available for those over 21. So come out to the Snake River Landing Thursday night for some good food and a great time with Andy Frasco & the U.N.
