Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Animal Control spent Sunday morning chasing a moose through several neighbors on the west side of Idaho Falls.
Idaho Falls Animal Services were also chasing the moose.
Several readers emailed photos of the animal to EastIdahoNews.com. The animal was seen at the corner of Troy Avenue and Broadway Street, before heading out to Old Butte Road and then towards Interstate 15.
It’s unclear if animal control was attempting to captur the animal or chase it out of town.
Eastern Idaho has seen increased moose activity in the last several months, with a number of moose being captured and relocated in eastern Idaho since March.
Fish and Game officials strongly advise everyone to stay away from the large wild animals.
