US 20 near St. Anthony to be closed Monday

The following is a news release from the Idaho Transportation Department.
RIGBY – Construction will close U.S. 20 between the south St. Anthony exit (344) and the middle St. Anthony exit (346) Monday (July 11). Crews will rebuild the railroad crossing on U.S. 20 north of Exit 344.
Traffic will be detoured along the old Yellowstone Highway in St. Anthony. Motorists should proceed cautiously and obey traffic signs. The road will reopen Tuesday morning.
Transportation department officials will close U.S. 20 at 4 a.m. Monday, with crews from Eastern Idaho Railroad to start construction by 6 a.m. so as to finish by dark.
Eastern Idaho Railroad is a short line railroad company owned by Watco Companies LLC, based in Pittsburg, Kansas.
The project will improve safety and ride for motorists, while preserving road and track infrastructure.
