WATCH: Aerial video shows massive size of Henry’s Creek Fire
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Firefighters continue to make progress on the Henry’s Fork Fire and it is now 81 percent contained, according to the Great Basin National Incident Management Team.
The fire has burned 52,972 acres and crews are working to keep the fire from spreading.
There are 407 personnel, along with engines, heavy equipment and aircraft helping to suppress the fire. Rehabilitation after the fire continues with dozers and hand lines.

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest Henrys Creek Fire Emergency Area, Road and Trail Closure put in effect on Aug. 25 has been rescinded after the incident commander felt suppression efforts have reduced the need of this closure.
