Payette mom gets rider for sex with 14-year-old
Published atPAYETTE — A woman who admitted to having sex with a eighth-grader was sentenced to ten years in prison but she could avoid the sentence if she successfully completes a rehabilitation program.
Kimberly Dawn Ahendres, 37, was sentenced to ten years behind bars. A judge opted to retain jurisdiction in the case and 37-year-old Kimberly Dawn Ahendres will serve a rider.
KTVB reports Ahendres met the victim, a friend of her son, when he was in the sixth grade. She said the pair entered into a sexual relationship when he was 14.
Police say the pair exchanged explicit photos on Snapchat and court documents show Ahendres had sex with the victim when he came over to her house for sleepovers.
The teen said Ahendres told him not to say anything about their relationship so she wouldn’t get in trouble.
In a police interview, Ahendres told detectives she and the boy planned to get married after he turned 18.
Ahendres pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a child under 16 in July.
