REXBURG– Watch the video above to see how many attempted to survive the Zombie Chase Race in Rexburg Saturday.
The family event, sponsored by The Dealio and Hemming Village, is a 5K race where people experience a simulated zombie apocalypse.
“The goal of the zombies is to make the race challenging and fun for the survivors,” The Dealio spokesman Urick said.
Hundreds attended the annual ‘Walking Dead’ inspired obstacle course.
All of the proceeds go to the Madison Junior High School Parent Teacher Organization.
“This event wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of the community members and especially all the local businesses that help sponsor the event. The community, along with the college students, has really turned out to support the race,” Urick said.
