Original story
NYE COUNTY, Nevada — Bonneville County murder suspect Jeremy White appeared before a magistrate judge this morning and waived extradition to Idaho.
That means White, 39, is voluntarily allowing himself to be transferred to Idaho without further court proceedings in Nevada.
Idaho authorities now have 14 days to bring him back to the Gem State, according to the Nye County Clerk’s Office.
White was arrested and taken into custody by Nye County Sheriff Office deputies last Friday on a second-degree murder warrant. Officials believe he left Idaho Falls Nov. 9 after killing his longtime girlfriend, Christin Caldwell.
Deena Aday, who was traveling with White, is currently being held in Nevada on an Idaho accessory to a felony warrant. She will appear for an extradition hearing this afternoon.
