IDAHO FALLS — Law enforcement across the country are asking the public for help in finding an Idaho Falls man accused of murdering his girlfriend before fleeing with another woman.

Jeremy White, 39, allegedly killed his girlfriend, Christin Caldwell, 48, and buried her in the basement of their home on South 35th West in Bonneville County.

White left east Idaho on Wednesday with Deena Rane Aday in a 2004 silver Jeep Cherokee, according to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.

“At this point their location is unknown,” Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Bryan Lovell told EastIdahoNews.com on Monday morning. “We believe he’s armed and dangerous, and we don’t know about the welfare of Ms. Aday. We do think she is in danger at this time.”

Lovell said the sheriff’s office is following up on tips concerning White’s whereabouts, and detectives are analyzing new leads.

White had been in a relationship with Caldwell for more than a decade, according to family members. They were engaged and had recently moved to their home on 35th West.

The medical examiner performed an autopsy on Caldwell on Saturday.

“We are awaiting toxicology reports to get a finalization on what we believe was the cause of death,” Lovell said.

White and Aday worked together, and “they are at least friends,” Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde said at a news conference Friday.

In a Facebook post, Keith Aday, Deena’s husband, said this has been “a very hard time” for his family.

“I spent 30 years caring for my queen and my four beautiful children,” he wrote. “I gave all of my heart, all my energy and my soul to my beautiful Deena and would do it again for her in a second. She was the beginning and the end, in my eyes … Thank you for all the support and love that emanates from each of you.”

If anyone sees White or Aday, authorities say they should call 911 or local law enforcement immediately.
