Police at Idaho Falls house after high-speed pursuit

IDAHO FALLS — A suspect led police on a high-speed pursuit through Idaho Falls on Thursday afternoon.
Idaho State Police attempted to stop a red Mazda RX8 around 2:30 p.m. The car sped from police east on Sunnyside and went north on Holmes. The chase was discontinued when speeds got too high, at one point more than 90 mph.
The car was last seen going east on 12th. Police later found it on the 1200 block of Juniper Drive parked in a driveway.
ISP, Idaho Falls police, Bonneville County sheriff’s deputies and law enforcement K9s are searching the area around the house. It is unclear whether the suspect is in the house or fled on foot.
