The following is a news release from the city of Idaho Falls.

The 2017 Mayors’ Family Bike Ride will be held on Monday, May 22. The ride will begin at 6 p.m. at Community Park, located at 700 E. 25th Street in Idaho Falls.

Community members of all ages are invited to join the mayors of Idaho Falls, Ammon, Iona and Ucon for a bike ride from Community Park to McCowin Park and back.

“This family-friendly event is a great way to get out and be active while learning about the many biking trails throughout our community,” states Idaho Falls Recreation Superintendent PJ Holm.

Free refreshments will be provided by Wackerli Subaru.

This event is in partnership with the Bonneville Metropolitan Planning Organization (BMPO), Idaho Falls Community Pathways, Eastern Idaho Public Health, Idaho Mountain Trading, Dave’s Bike Shop, Bill’s Bike and Run and Snake River Landing.
