IDAHO FALLS — A woman around the age of 29 was shot at Guns N Gear on Utah Avenue around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to Idaho Falls Police.

The woman shot herself in the head and investigators are working to determine if it was intentional or accidental, according to Idaho Falls Police Sgt. Scott Killian.

“We are reviewing surveillance video to see what happened,” Killian tells EastIdahoNews.com.

The woman was rushed to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Her condition has not been released.

Detectives remain at the shop, which is temporarily closed.
