Entertainment lineup announced for 4th of July Riverfest

The following is a news release from Riverbend Communications.

IDAHO FALLS — Seven talented local bands and the Freedom Symphony will take the Teton Toyota Stage at the Mountain View Hospital Riverfest 4th of July celebration.

The musical acts will perform throughout the day at the beautiful Snake River Landing. Mountain View Hospital Riverfest visitors will enjoy the impressive music as they celebrate Independence Day.

“It’s the biggest party in Idaho on the 4th,” said Mike Nelson, Riverbend Communications Operations Manager. “We have ten hours of epic music entertainment lined up and it’s absolutely free. Everybody wants to be at Snake River Landing for the 4th of July, bands included.”

Here is a list of the performers:

11:45 a.m. The Voltz — A classic rock band from Arco and Idaho Falls. Young musicians who play classic covers and their own original songs.

1:00 p.m. Joe and Jacie Sites — Nine-time national fiddle champion and grand
master fiddle champion.

2:25 p.m. DLR — Rowdy, stomp your feet, clap your hands, shout to the sky rock
radio hits revisited in their own unique way.

3:45 p.m. Buster Brown — Contemporary Gospel with a soulful, folky sound.

5:00 p.m. Clint King — Building momentum as a singer/songwriter who continues
the tradition of country music at its best with a voice that is nothing but his own.

6:25 p.m. McMurphy Brothers & Co. — An American Band out of Idaho Falls.
The brothers grew up playing music together and are still carrying on the tradition.

7:45 p.m. The Opskamatrists — Upbeat, energetic, ska/reggae/punk band from
southeast Idaho that’s guaranteed to entertain.

9:15 p.m. Freedom Symphony — Led by Eric Wenstrom, conductor of the Teton Chamber Orchestra, this 40-person symphony will play a variety of popular and patriotic music.

Specific details about parking, traffic flow, vendors and other information will be released in the coming days to local media and on the Riverfest Facebook page.
