One man dead after crash in Pocatello

POCATELLO — The Pocatello Police Department is investigating a single vehicle fatality crash that occurred on North Main Extension near the railway bridge.
The crash occurred about 4:20 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
Police reports show the vehicle was traveling northbound on North Main Extension when it struck an upright to the rail road bridge.
One adult male was inside the vehicle and he was dead when officers arrived.
The man has not been identified.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
