EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!

We want to surprise people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you with some feel good moments.

We recently learned about a Pocatello woman named Heather.

“She is a hardworking, dedicated mom of three whose husband is a full-time physical therapy student at ISU,” a friend tells us. “Even though they don’t have much money, Heather finds ways for her and her children to give back to the community. When she sees a need, she gets to baking. She makes cinnamon rolls and posts online that she will be taking donations and selling cinnamon rolls to raise funds to meet a specific need.”

Heather has raised money for humanitarian kits that were distributed during hurricane season, sleeping bags for the homeless, diapers for organizations in need of helping mothers and other causes.

Her motto is, “I may not have money to donate but I can bake.”

We decided to surprise Heather with a special gift. Watch the video above to see how it went down!
