The original citation was issued after a woman allegedly discovered Polatis in her Salem home on Sunday, Feb. 11.
“She told her kids to stay in the car while she went inside,” Madison County Sheriff Chief Deputy Bart Quayle told EastIdahoNews.com Feb. 13. “She didn’t see him in the house but went back outside, where she saw him getting into his vehicle. He told her his animals had recently died, and he came to her house to see her animals.”
A bed belonging to the woman’s daughter appeared disheveled, according to officials.
Polatis has a criminal history of stalking and unlawful entry in both 2015 and 2016.
Neighbors nicknamed Cody Polatis the “Sunday Bandit” after he repeatedly broke into several homes while residents were attending Mormon church services.
