Union Pacific Railroad closes crossing in Idaho Falls for repairs

The following is a news release from the city of Idaho Falls.
IDAHO FALLS — Union Pacific Railroad will beginning reconstructing the railroad crossing at the intersection of South Yellowstone Highway and Jameston Road on Monday.
As a result, Jameston Road will be closed between South Yellowstone and Professional Way for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured to Professional Way via Sunnyside Road.
The anticipated completion time, barring unforeseen conditions is Oct. 12.
