3-vehicle crash near Blackfoot causes slowdown on I-15

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
BLACKFOOT — Idaho State Police are investigating an injury crash on southbound Interstate 15 that caused a significant traffic back up earlier Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at milepost 98 north of Blackfoot at around noon.
Police reports show Debra Montgomery, 61, of Tremonton, Utah, was stopped in traffic southbound on Interstate 15 at milepost 98 in a 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan. Lyndsey Mower, 20, of San Antonio, Texas was driving a 2007 Toyota Avalon when she struck the rear of Montgomery’s vehicle.
Montgomerys vehicle then struck the rear of a 1997 Chevy 1500 driven by William Johnson, 33, of Blackfoot.
Mower was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot. Her condition is unknown.
All drivers were wearing their seatbelts. The left lane of travel was blocked for approximately 1.5 hours.
