3 arrested when SWAT team finds meth, weapons in home near Irwin

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 10, 2019, at approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team served a search warrant on a residence located in the 3400 block of Swan Valley Highway near Irwin. The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation by detectives with the Special Investigations Unit consisting of deputies from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Idaho Falls Police Department.
Deputies were able to secure the residence and locate three adult occupants identified as 44-year-old Dwayne C. Christiansen and 41-year-old Lisa M. Christiansen who were the homeowners, as well as 51-year-old Regina M. Smith. A search of the residence found the three to be in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia, weapons and a total of just over 46 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Regina Smith and Lisa Christiansen were transported to the Bonneville County Jail where they were booked for felony possession of a controlled substance. Dwayne Christiansen was transported to the Bonneville County Jail and booked for felony drug trafficking as well as an active felony warrant from the Idaho Falls Police Department for possession of a controlled substance.
This case is still under investigation, and no further information is available.
