In this edition of East Idaho Newsmakers, Nate Eaton talks with Republican Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson.

Simpson has served 11 terms and is gearing up to run again. The east Idaho native began his career in politics in the late ’90s on the Blackfoot City Council. He has won every election and says he loves serving the people of Idaho.

During their conversation, Eaton and Simpson discuss immigration, social security, Medicare, drug prices, the state of politics in Washington, his goal to bring more salmon to Idaho and why he is running again.
