2 hospitalized following crash on Highway 20 near Ucon

IDAHO FALLS – Two people were hospitalized Monday night following a crash on U.S. Highway 20 near Ucon.

Idaho Falls Fire Department spokeswoman Kerry Hammon tells EastIdahoNews.com the crash occurred at 3171 U.S. Highway 20 around 6:40 p.m.

It’s not clear what happened or how many cars were involved, but Hammon says one adult man and one adult woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The woman was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and the man was taken to Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

One fire engine and two ambulances were sent to the crash.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Idaho State Police also responded.
