Idaho Falls firefighters put out backyard fire Wednesday morning

IDAHO FALLS — Firefighters extinguished a backyard fire in Idaho Falls Wednesday morning.
Emergency responders were called to a house on Foster Drive at about 7:30 a.m., Idaho Falls Fire Department spokeswoman Kerry Hammon said. When firefighters arrived, they found what appeared to be a chicken coup totally engulfed in flames. The fire also burned onto an adjacent shed.
By 7:34 a.m., firefighters had the fire out before additional engines arrived at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries were reported.
