Police want your help tracking down ‘porch pirates’ in Idaho Falls after several packages were stolen

IDAHO FALLS – Police are investigating a series of package thefts in Idaho Falls.
Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements says some packages were recently stolen off porches in the Fairway Estates area on the north side of town.
Multiple thefts occurred in that area Friday, Nov. 27.
“Suspects specifically targeted homes in that area that do not have readily visible doorbell cameras,” Clements says in a news release. “We believe there may be other victims in that immediate area who may be unaware that they have had packages stolen.
If you were expecting packages and live in or near that subdivision, police are asking you to keep your eyes out for “porch pirates.”
