UPDATE: Officials name two killed in head-on crash

FORT HALL — Idaho State Police have released the names of two people from Pocatello who died in a head-on collision Wednesday morning.
When first responders arrived, they found the bodies of John F. Hamann, 39, and Tena A. Silveira, 60, after their vehicles collided head-on. The crash happened around 5 a.m. on U.S. Highway 91 on the Fort Hall reservation.
ISP reports that Hammann in a 1992 Dodge was driving southbound and crossed over into the northbound lanes, hitting Silveira in a 2004 Chevrolet Classic.
The crash remains under investigation by ISP.

FORT HALL — Two drivers are dead after a head-on crash in Fort Hall early Wednesday morning.
Around 5 a.m., Fort Hall dispatchers were called about a two-vehicle crash on North Treaty Highway/U.S. Highway 91 near Stock Trail Road, according to a Shoshone-Bannock Tribes news release. When Fort Hall Police arrived, they found the drivers of both vehicles dead. No one else was in the vehicles.
One vehicle is believed to have been driving northbound and the second driving southbound before colliding head-on, according to Fort Hall Police.
Officials say they are unable to release names at this time despite families being notified.
The crash closed US-91 for around three hours.
Fort Hall Police and Idaho State Police troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
Fort Hall Fire and EMS, ISP and Bingham County Sheriff’s deputies helped with the response.
